From Mongol Global to Destination Masters

Our journey began in 1997 when President Emeritus, Russ Oquist traveled to China and Mongolia. Enchanted by the rich cultures and inspired by the experiences of those around him, Russ founded Mongol Global Tour Company. A few years later, his daughter Suzie Masters joined the team, and together, they expanded the company’s offerings to include customized travel experiences to destinations around the world.

Over the years, our team has built strong, lasting relationships with local partners and clients alike. These connections have allowed us to create enriching, meaningful travel experiences for our clients—one journey at a time.

In 2020, Russ passed the baton of leadership to a new generation of passionate travel experts: Suzie Masters, Melissa Stanley, and Chantal Wagner. Thus, Destination Masters was born. We have continued to expand our team of caring specialists who all themselves love to travel and are ready to plan your next adventure.
